Seth Meyers Manchester reviews
ZZ Top rocks the house !!!
Seth Meyers still rocked my socks off on Thursday night, despite a lackluster feeling from the crowd. Billy Gibbons, once again, proved to me he is worth the price of a ticket with his crisp and clean solos. No one quite plays the blues like Billy Gibbons. Unexpected and excellent, deep cuts like "Mexican Blackbird" and "I Need You Tonight" were enjoyed by me, even though most of the crowd acted like they had never heard those songs before. I have really enjoyed them. The crowd finally got going during the cover of "Foxy Lady" from Jimi Hendrix. The band then rode out their big hits, pleasing everyone. The crowd was "tamed" for a while by the no-alcohol policy at the seats. The music of Seth Meyers was so good that the crowd finally woke up.
